The eISL Season 2 2023 is set to start very soon on the 28th of February, check out the format, full schedule, live streaming and more.
The eISL is an annual e-sports tournament, which began last year, and features some of the country’s best e-football players.

The eISL Season 2 2023 will be played across a span of 4 months starting from February till May, 2023.
eISL Season 2 2023 format and dates
The second season of the highly anticipated eISL will begin from February 28 2023 with its league stage. For the inaugural week of the tournament, the organizers have scheduled six fixtures.
Notably, the league phase of the upcoming season will feature 55 matches played out online. Once the league phase finishes, the top teams will take part in the playoffs scheduled for 6th and 7th of May 2023. There will be 7 matches in the playoffs, which means a total of 62 matches altogether.
The eISL playoffs will follow the same format as the Hero ISL playoffs format and it will be a LAN event set to take place in Delhi.

Fans can watch all the live streaming of the eISL tournament on the Hero ISL, eISL YouTube handles. Each club’s YouTube handles will also provide the live streaming of their respective matches.
Inaugural week fixtures
Chennaiyin FC vs Mumbai City FC
The inaugural week of the eISL season 2 begins with a marquee clash between title defenders Chennaiyin FC and last season’s runners-up Mumbai City FC. Ahead of the match, Mumbai City FC, haven’t retained any players and are featuring a fresh lineup of players.
Bengaluru FC vs NorthEast United FC
In the second match, Bengaluru FC will take on NorthEast United FC. This match promises to be another exciting one. Charanjot Singh and Saransh Jain, who both represented India at the FIFA Global Series last year, will go head-to-head against their teammates Sagnik Banerji and Emaad Ahmed.
East Bengal FC vs Jamshedpur FC
The third fixture of the opening day will feature East Bengal FC face off against Jamshedpur FC. The match will feature two retained players Shayantan Mondal and Arvind S face off against each other.
FC Goa vs Kerala Blasters FC
FC Goa will take on Kerala Blasters FC
ATK Mohun Bagan vs Odisha FC
ATK Mohun Bagan will go head-to-head against Odisha FC
Hyderabad FC vs Chennaiyin FC
The last fixture of first week will feature Hyderabad FC hosting the title defenders Chennaiyin FC.
Second week fixtures
The second week of the tournament will feature former Hyderabad players Darvesh and Aditya go up against each other as FC Goa will play against Jamshedpur FC on March 11. The second week will also feature Bengaluru FC vs the Kerala Blasters FC on March 14. In the match, Charanjot Singh, who is one of India’s top-ranked FIFA pros and a first-time eISL participant will go head to head against southern rivals Lokmanyu and Shubham.
Third Week fixtures
Odisha FC vs Mumbai City FC
In the following week, Odisha FC will face off against Mumbai City FC on March 22, which will be a promising match. The match will feature two first-time eISL match-ups. Both teams are set to feature fresh talents in their squads with Nathan Fernandes and Sarvagya Rawat for OFC and Aditya Chadha and Saksham Rattan for MCFC.
East Bengal FC ATL Mohun Bagan FC
The much-anticipated Kolkata Derby will take place on March 28, featuring East Bengal FC hosting ATK Mohun Bagan. East Bnegal will feature ISL returnees Akshat Khandelwal and Shayantan Mondal while ATK Mohun Bagan will feature players like Afnan and Vignesh.
April fixtures
Hyderabad FC vs Bengaluru FC
April promises to be another exciting month as the first-week clash will feature Hyderabad FC vs Bengaluru FC. In the match, Aman Warsi will go up against his former team.
Chennaiyin FC and NorthEast United FC
The Chennaiyin FC vs NorthEast United FC fixture, which will take place on April 19 also promises to be an exciting match. Machan Saransh, who won the trophy with Chennaiyin FC last season will face his former team after he moved to NorthEast United FC this season.
Final league-stage matches
The eISL Season 2 league stage campaign will officially end on 26 April 2023 with three exciting fixtures. In the first match, Mumbai City FC will face off against Jamshedpur FC. Meanwhile FC Goa face NorthEast United FC in the second match and the final fixture will feature East Bengal FC vs Bengaluru FC.
