Other competitions, including the Lanka Premier League, Nepal T20, and ILT20, will be taken into consideration moving forward, according to The Wisden.
System of Legends Ranking Points
The Legends Ranking method assigns a collective grade based on a retiring player’s total performance in T20 competitions. The ranking will be based on the player’s overall match score, overall individual score, and the number of wickets taken in each game.
The stature of the rival side has also been given weight. The opponent’s performance and the performance of their team as a whole during the competition are additional crucial elements and characteristics, as are a player’s strike rate and average.
Rankings of Legend
Tilakratne Dilshan, a former batter for Sri Lanka, is currently ranked first among batters whereas Indian all-rounder Yusuf Pathan is in second place. Legendary Indian batter Virender Sehwag is ranked seventh among batters. Nawan Kulsekra of Sri Lanka is currently ranked first among bowlers. The whole list is available on the official Legends Ranking website.
