An American football player, Ryan Keeler left us for his heavenly abode, know his cause of death
The defensive lineman of UNLV passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023.
The sports industry is currently mourning the demise of Keeler, who was transferred to UNLV ahead of the 2022 season. His death came as a shock to his family and closed ones.

As per a report by Clark County, the coroner’s office of Nevada revealed that the toxicology results of Keeler’s death is pending. The Las Vegas police department has launched an investigation into the death of the pro player.

UNLV coach, Barry Odom informed in a statement on Monday, “We are devastated to have lost a member of our Rebel family. While I had the honor of knowing Ryan for only a couple of months, he already stood out to our coaching staff as an incredible person, student and teammate. Our condolences and prayers go out to Ryan’s family as we grieve along with them over this tremendous loss.”
Meanwhile, athletic director, Erick Harper, added, “The UNLV family is in mourning today over the sudden loss of one of our own. Our hearts go out to all of Ryan’s family and friends along with his Rebel teammates.”
Who was Ryan Keeler?
For those who are unfamiliar with the professional footballer, let us tell you, Ryan who was 6’ 6” tall and weighs around 275 pound defensive lineman has played a total of 7 games and had 8 tackles. He had a sack against Air Force on October 15.
During the 2022 season, the Rebels were coached by Marcus Arroyo. Earlier, in December, Odom was hired to be team’s new head coach. Keeler, who belonged to Chicago, transferred from Rutgers University.
The player spent his first season of college football with the Scarlet Knights. He was a 3-star recruit in the class of 2021. The 20-year-old professional player who graduated from Nazareth Academy had a GPA of 3.80.
