In their continuing Twitter argument, Venkatesh Prasad and Aakash Chopra brought up an old Tweet from the latter of Rohit Sharma

Venkatesh responded to Chopra’s current Tweet by sending one from ten years ago about Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane.

What was the old tweet?

Chopra questioned the management’s choice to select Rohit over Rahane in a tweet from December 2012. “Rahane is left from the starting XI. Furthermore, “talented” Rohit Sharma does “At the time, Chopra had tweeted. Although the current Indian captain played frequently in white-ball cricket during his early years, it is fair to claim that he had consistency issues. Venkatesh accused Ajinkya of misquoting Chopra and provided a screenshot of his disapproval of Rohit’s selection over him.

Venkatesh Prasad and Aakash Chopra have engaged in a Twitter debate as a result of Venkatesh Prasad’s criticism of KL Rahul’s reportedly prejudiced selection in the Indian playing Eleven against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023. The two former Indian cricketers are arguing on the social media site Twitter about KL Rahul’s selection for the starting lineup of the Test series between India and Australia.

Akash Chopra referred to Prasad as an “Agenda Peddler.”

In another thread that Prasad posted on Twitter on Tuesday night (February 21), he criticised Aakash for calling him an “Agenda Peddler” in one of his YouTube videos. In his attack on Aakash, Prasad said that Chopra had posted an offensive video on YouTube this morning calling him an agenda pusher. He also charged him with conveniently and deftly misquoting him and omitting Mayank’s domestic average of 70.

He claimed Rohit was a target of Akash’s plan to stifle viewpoints different from his own. Various points of view are acceptable, but calling opposing viewpoints personal agendas is funny given that @cricketaakash has made a great career off of discussing his opinions.

Prasad further asserted that he had nothing against any other player or KL. He has criticised unfair hiring practices and conflicting performance expectations. Whether it was for Sarfaraz or Kuldeep, he always stood up based on merit. But, it was disturbing when Aakash referred to it as a personal agenda.

Prasad was told to be calm.

Chopra advised Prasad to be a little more subdued and to avoid advocating any agendas on social media. Chopra clarified that he was not implying that KL Rahul would resemble Rohit Sharma, but he did respectfully encourage Prasad to keep his composure. In addition, he cautioned him from advancing any personal ambitions. He recommended discussing the actual figures rather than those that fit Prasad’s theories.

The cricketer responded to a supporter on Twitter who appreciated Chopra for providing data to put everything in perspective by stating that everyone should constantly make an effort to conduct themselves morally. He is not facing Venky, either. Although he truly respects him, he feels he must give background information.
