Star Spotlight on Guests
Rutina Wesley As Maria Miller
The duo first meets Maria Miller (Rutina Wesley), who is Tommy’s wife and the head of the Jackson commune.
Since making her acting debut in the 2007 movie How She Moves, Rutina has played a variety of high-profile parts, such as Reba McClane in Hannibal, Tara Thornton in True Blood, Shelby in 13 Sins, Liza Warner in Arrow, and Nova Bordelon in Queen Sugar.
Graham Greene As Marlon
Acting veteran Graham Greene unexpectedly joins the cast of episode 6. He portrays Marlon. The actor was born in Ontario and is a well-known actor as he has played over 160 roles.
He made his debut in 1976 and got his big break in the Oscar-winning 1990 movie Dances With Wolves. Some of his other known work includes The Green Mile, Twilight: New Moon, the TV series Defiance, Riverdale, The Red Green Show, Wind River, and the Yellowstone spin-off 1883. He was even in the video game Red Dead Redemption 2, where he provided the voice of Rains Fall.
Gabriel Luna As Tommy Miller
Gabriel Luna first played Tommy in episode 1 and reprises the part in episode 6. He made his debut in 2005 with Fall to Grace. Since then, he has had more than 25 roles under his name.
His roles as Robbie Reyes in the TV show Prison Break, Wicked City, Matador, HBO’s True Detective, and Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD are among his most illustrious credits (aka Ghost Rider).
Gabriel was also seen playing Rev-9 android in the 2019 film Terminator: Dark Fate.
Elaine Miles as Florence
Elaine Miles portrays Florence, Marlon’s wife.
With more than 30 years in the industry, Miles is a well-known face in the series. She was seen in 1990s episodes of the CBS series Northern Exposure and in the movies Fishing Naked, Wyvern, and Juanita.
Paolina van Kleef As Staring Girl
Paolina van Kleef, a newbie to acting, was given the role of Staring Girl. The character is immediately recognisable to video game enthusiasts as Dina, Ellie’s love interest in The Last of Us Part II.
HBO has not yet officially announced whether Paolina will return for season 2 or if she will only serve as a stand-in until a permanent cast member is found.
Paolina debuted in the 2018 short film Yasmina and will next appear in the Netflix TV series The Night Agent in 2023.
