Last season, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya brought some inspirational performances, helping the franchise clinch their title in its debut season.
Gujarat Titans retained players
Ahead of the tournament, the franchise retained several of their key players including their skipper Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan, Rahul Tewatia, Shubman Gill and David Miller. Besides them, the franchise also retained Abhinav Manohar, Sai Sudharshan, Wriddhiman Saha and all-rounders Vijay Shankar, Darshan Nalkhande and Jayant Yadav.
Among the bowlers, the GT retained Md. Shami, R Sai Kishore, Noor Ahmed, Pradeep Sangwan, and Yash Dayal. Meanwhile, the franchise also retained overseas players Alzzari Joseph, and Matthew Wade.
Meanwhile, GT picked up some notable players like Joshua Little, Kane Williamson and Odean Smith during the IPL 2023 mini-auction.
