Anne McDaniel is renowned for being the wife of All-Star catcher and Hall of Fame broadcaster Tim McCarver. She has been in the news because her husband passed away recently at the age of 81.
Anne and McCarver married in 1964 after meeting in high school. They attended Memphis Christian Brothers High School in Memphis, Tennessee, where McCarver was enrolled when the St. Louis Cardinals selected him for their 1959 baseball draft.
