Puppy Bowl 2023 right before Super Bowl 2023
Before the excitement kicks off Sunday, you still have a chance to vote online for the “Most Pupular Player” as Moocow and Josh Allenhound are facing off in the final. The winner will be revealed on Sunday.
Two teams – Team Ruff and Team Fluff will scrap it out for the highly prestigious Lombarky Trophy with defending champions Team Fluff hoping to make it three wins in a row and the pups taking part come from all parts of the country – 122 dogs from 67 shelters nationwide plus a few of their feline friends, kittens who provide the entertainment in the famed Kitty Halftime Show.
As for the game, the rules are simple – to score, the pups just need to get the ball to one of the endzones.
Anyone wanting to adopt a pup or kitten that has taken part in Puppy Bowl can do so by visiting www.animalPlanet.com or Discovery.com, where they will be directed to their nearest shelter where they can find out more information about the process.

The Puppy Bowl will once again be held before to the significant Super Bowl game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. Keep in mind that the charming event will be shown, but it won’t be live; rather, it will be pre-recorded. Since there were so many puppies, many of them may have already been adopted.
The initiative involves sending the top four four-legged athletes from various shelters across the nation to compete against one another. We’ll find out whether squad, Team Ruff or Team Fluff, wins the Lombarky trophy this year. During the 2023 edition, 122 puppies from 67 shelters in 34 states were gathered.
What is the purpose of the game?
The purpose of the game is to help the adorable players find homes, but the original intention was to show how many orphaned and abandoned dogs there are. It’s advisable to phone to confirm the puppy’s availability even though by the time you watch the broadcast, many will probably already have new homes. You’re never sure!
