Jack Jenkins was born and brought up in Bacchus Marsh, west of Melbourne, Australia. The Aussie fighter initially got drawn to MMA at the young age of 14. He recalled how he often followed his kickboxer brother to the gym, knowing for sure that he wanted to become a fighter one day.
Eventually, Jenkins began watching the UFC and started learning jiu-jitsu. Just like Alex Volkanovski, Jenkins also played rugby back in high school. Interestingly, Jenkins has had a few sparring sessions with the featherweight champion in the past. Another interesting fact is that Jenkins also played alongside Jack Della Maddalenaโs older brother, Josh, in the rugby state team.
Thus, โPhar Jackโ has always been directly or indirectly connected to UFC fighters throughout his life. Jack made his MMA debut back in 2016 and has never looked back ever since.

Jenkins currently has a contract with Paradigm Sports Management, alongside fighters like Israel Adesanya, Conor McGregor, and Jack Della Maddalena. The 29-year-old revealed how Alexander Volkanovski vouched for him several times with UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby.
Prior to joining the UFC, Jenkins fought in the Hex Fight Series and Eternal MMA. Jack eventually ended up on Dana Whiteโs Contender Series: Season 6 where he fought against Emiliano Linares. Jack managed to put on a particularly dominant display during that fight, ending things quickly in the third round. His successful performances on the show earned him at ticket to join the UFC and make his debut appearance at UFC 284.

Jack currently has a 10-2 professional MMA record and was also the featherweight champion at Eternal MMA before he joined the Contender Series.
