A firm with a Delhi headquarters that calls itself “Asia’s fastest growing mental strength platform” was founded by Kanika Agarwal in 2020. The creator says that it has a unique algorithm that examines how significant facets of your life, such as your work, financial situation, and relationships, are having an effect on your brain. She attended Nanyang Technological University in Singapore to earn her undergraduate degree.

In July 2021, Sahil Chitkara became a co-founder of MindPeers after an investor set up a meeting between him and Agarwal. Chitkara earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak.

30,000 individuals are now active monthly on MindPeers. Users can also access some commercial services, such as real-time responses from psychologists, by paying Rs. 350 per month. There are currently 3,500 paying users and six psychologists employed by the company.

The founders of MindPeers requested Rs. 53 lakhs from the sharks in exchange for a 1% stake. Sharks understood that healthy living and the ability to express one’s opinions were essential for humankind.

The agreement was struck between the three sharks Vineeta, Namita, and Peyush, and the founders for Rs. 1.06 crores against 2% equity.
