Recent earthquake has taken lives of thousand people in Turkey and Syria
Two devastating earthquakes hit Turkey and Syria on the same day, January 6, 2023, and claimed the lives of nearly 2,500 people. The death toll is expected to climb despite the fact that search and rescue activities are being carried out in the surrounding region. This is due to the fact that many buildings have been brought down, and it is believed that a large number of people are buried under the debris.
