Molly Mae Hague was born in Stevenage and was raised in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. Her parents were both police officers. She has one sister and she enrolled herself in The Priory School, Hitchin. As being a teenager, Hague contested in beauty pageants being crowned as Miss Teen Hertfordshire of 2015 and World Teen Supermodel UK in early 2016.

Hague also appeared on a spin-off starring Fury and Curtis Pritchard named The Boxer and The Ballroom Dancer and made her appearance in an episode of Tyson Fury: Gypsy King.
Hague later on revealed the reason for going on the show. Her reason was to “enhance her career”. Hague’s Instagram following grew from 160,000 to almost three million during her time in the Love Island villa.
After leaving Love Island, she was reportedly signed at a £500,000 deal with the PrettyLittleThing. In August of 2021, she was hired as the firm’s “creative director” after earlier serving as a brand ambassador.
