Tarakaratna was born on the 22nd of February in 1983 to his parents Nandamuri Mohanakrishna and Shanti. Tarakaratna’s mother, Shanthi is a well-known producer Lion U. Visvesvara Rao’s daughter. At that time he produced several super-hit movies with the NTR and ANNR. Tarakaratna is best known as ‘Obu’ at home. He got married to his love of life whose name is Alekhya Reddy on the 2nd of August in 2012 at the Sanghi Temple in presence of some relatives and friends.

Tarakaratna’s wife Alekhya worked as a costume designer for the movie ‘Nandeeswarudu’ starring him. Tarakaratna’s wife Alekhya Reddy is related to Vijayasai Reddy, who is a prominent parliamentary party leader and also a Rajya Sabha member. She is Vijayasai Reddy’s wife’s younger daughter.
Challa is a close relative of Tarakaratna’s wife Alekhya Reddy. Alekhya Reddy is Challa Ramachandra Reddy’s grandmotherโs daughter. When the Challa family came to know that Tarakaratna had a heart attack, Challa’s wife Supriya Reddy went to the hospital and tried comforting Taraka Ratna’s wife. Ramachandra Reddy was also seen in that private hospital.
