Phabian Bynaum, 19, Davarius Bynaum, 20, and Malik Thomas, 21, have been named as the three people who were killed in the accident. They had all just recently graduated from Cameron High School, where they had participated in athletics when they were students there.

Phabian Bynaum, the youngest of the three, was behind the wheel of the vehicle, as stated by Milam County Sheriff Mike Clore and FOX 7 Austin. Bynaum was going more than 20 miles per hour over the official speed limit on US 190 between Cameron and Milano. Clore said that after one of his deputies failed to stop the automobile, a chase followed.

Bynaum allegedly lost control of the vehicle while he was trying to pass other vehicles, as stated in a press statement issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety. The car rolled over and started a fire in the middle of a field after it had collided with a tree and a fence earlier.

According to the laws of the state of Texas, motorists are required to pull over to the right side of the road and come to a full stop whenever an emergency vehicle that is equipped with lights and sirens is approaching.

According to Kevin Sprinkles, the superintendent of Cameron ISD, counsellors will now be made available on all of the district’s campuses so that similar mishaps can be avoided in the future. This applies to both students and employees.

Over the course of the past three decades, there have been over 5,000 bystanders who have been killed as a result of car accidents across the country. In high-speed police chase incidents, it is common to find that approximately two-thirds of the victims are innocent third persons who had nothing to do with the chase.
