Gerard Pique’s ex, Shakira clearly did not take their break-up well, and still seems to have not come to terms over their relationship ending.
Shakira and Pique announce split
The famous Spanish footballer and the Hips Don’t Lie singer just last year announced their split in June 2022. The dated for 11 years together and even have two sons together named Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7.
Following their split, Shakira reportedly proceeded to diss the Pique and his new girlfriend in her new song with Bizarrap. However, as things stand, Pique seems to have got the alst laugh with his hilarious comebacks.
Clara Chia Marti brief bio and age gap with Pique
Gerard Pique’s new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti is reportedly a public relations student, who presently resides in Barcelona. She is reportedly an employee at Kosmo, a film and TV production company that Pique owns. The pair allegedly first met at a work event, where she was once spotted as a waitress there.
Clara is currently 23-years-old as she was born in 1999, this brings a 12 year age gap between her and Pique, who is currently 35-years-old. Interestingly, Clara is just a little over half of Shakira’s age, who is currently of 45.
Ever since she was thrust into the spotlight, several Instagram accounts claiming to be Clara have proceeded to pop up. In fact, one of those accounts has even garnered a massive 30.8K followers. However, there is only one account that the footballer follows and it is a private account.
Shakira takes a dig at Clara in Bizarrap song
Shakira recently released a new song, which got a whopping 55 million views on YouTube, setting a new YouTube record for a Spanish-language song. The singer’s ‘Bzrp Music Sessions Volume 53’ also got over 15 million Spotify streams under 24 hours.
Apparently, the song has garnered a lot of interest because Shakira takes a dig at Pique and his new love Clara.
In the second verse of the song, Shakira sings:
You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo, you traded a Rolex for a Casio.
The line implies that Pique broke up with her, who is a Ferrari, for a Renault Twingo car, who is supposedly Clara. A Renault Twingo is the complete opposite to the luxurious sports vehicle.
Similarly, Shakira allegedly refers to herself as a Rolex watch, while Pique’s new lover is a Casio.
Much to the delight of Pique’s fans, the former Barca star replied to her antics by turning up in a Twigo and wearing a Casio watch while making a public appearance.
