Here is all you need to know about ‘Enigma 69’ the masked player in Gerard Pique’s Kings League who is now identified as Nano Mesa
Each week, sides in the Kings League are permitted to call in a guest player but, the identity of Sunday’s masked addition to the buyer Team was surrounded in privacy.
The identity of the player only known as “Enigma 69” who played in Sunday’s matches remained a mystery to Kings League viewers, a seven-a-side football competition started this month by Barcelona and Spain legend Gerard Piqué.
A rule that permits each team in the competition to call up a guest player for each week’s set of matches allowed the unidentified person to play for the Kings League club XBuyer Team.

The “player 12” rule, which has led to the addition of well-known players to squads that are primarily made up of lesser-known individuals, includes current MLS star Javier “Chicharito” Hernández and former Spain international Joan Capdevila.
Piqué revealed that XBuyer Team would be inviting a player who doesn’t want to expose his identify ahead of this weekend’s second round of Kings League games.
Pique told that, the guest is a first-division player, and he’s going to wear a [Mexican] wrestling mask and cover his body so his tattoos won’t be recognised.
Pique and popular Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos created the indoor competition.

Was ‘Enigma 69’ impressive?
Enigma 69 played in a game he will never forget, whether it was because his mask obscured his eyesight or because he was obviously not in top physical shape.
Due to his inability to score, his team’s 1-0 loss against Kunisports, a team whose president is former Argentine striker Sergio Agüero, was unavoidable.
Ibai Llanos seems to unintentionally reveal the identify of the player
Meanwhile, on social media, there were rumours that the unidentified player was former Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcon, who left Sevilla and is now a free agent.
Denis Suarez, a former player for Barca, and Ruben Osasuna, a current player for Osasuna, were two further names that were mentioned.
However, ‘Enigma 69’ appears to have actually been former Cádiz forward Nano Mesa, though. That’s what Ibai Llanos seems to have said in a live video on the streaming service Twitch:
A lot of people thought it was Isco, because his physique is similar to Nano Mesa’s.”
Aguero also said that XBuyer Team’s “player 12” was “someone who used to play for Cádiz.”
Who is Nano Mesa?
