Suzu’s friends were interested in Matsuri and want to get closer. Matsuri goes to take action after detecting Ayakashi approaching and discovers Shirogane outside. In return for being turned back, he makes a bargain; he asks to be released. When Shirogane releases a long-sealed ancient monster, it quickly attacks Suzu and is later defeated by Matsuri.
Suzu’s classmates join Matsuri after school and make the formal greetings. Suzu makes use of this pretext to approach him, and exchange phone numbers. Matsuri requested Suzu to add him to her girlfriend group so that he could stay close by and guard her against the nasty Ayakashis. Matsuri was having a shower when Shirogane fooled him and took the scroll using Suzu’s appearance.
