After going trekking in the San Gabriel Mountains last week, 65-year-old British actor Julian Sands has been reported missing in the Baldy Bowl neighborhood. According to the police, rescue efforts were put on hold last weekend owing to avalanche threats, but a drone and chopper searches went on as usual.

Sands, who has made appearances in well-known movies and TV programs including A Room with a View and Smallville, was reported missing on January 13 at around 19:30 local time, according to the PA news agency.

Evgenia Citkowitz is a well-known American author and journalist. She has been in the news because her husband, Julian Sands, went missing recently.
According to records, she was born in 1968 in New York. She is the daughter of American pianist and composer Israel Citkowitz and Anglo-Irish author and socialite Lady Caroline Blackwood.
She did her schooling in the UK and the United States when she was younger. While being in London, she earned an English Literature degree from Oxford University.
She married actor Julian Sands in 1990. They are both the parents of two daughters. Natalya Morley Sands, their first daughter, was born in August 1996, and Imogen, their second daughter, was born in December 1999.
