The speculation that the player had died began on July 26, 2022, when the user @eksservr posted a TikTok video that appeared to show the gamer. Daz Black might be seen briefly on a roller coaster in the footage. A hidden meaning was included by the user, which no one could decipher.
There was text that said:

Theย clip is about five months old, and the gamer has maintained a steady presence across all of his social media platforms since then.
