The deadly incident happened outside Bryant-Denny Stadium, the 100,000-seat venue where Alabama plays its home football games, at approximately 1.45 in the morning. Harris was discovered deceased in a car’s passenger seat when police arrived on the scene.

Who is Jamea Jonae Harris?

Jamea Jonae Harris has been in the news because Darius Miles and Michael Lynn Davis murdered her recently.

According to her Facebook profile, she was from Birmingham, and her hometown is Montgomery, Alabama. Her mother’s name is DeCarla Cotton. Many news outlets also claim she was the mother of two children. However, nothing much is known about her.

Her first cousin, Kennedi Henderson, remarked that she had a modest spirit and was always a cheerful soul. He added that she kept the cousins together and encouraged them to be their best selves.

At the time of her death, she was 23 years old.

How did she die?

The 400 block of Grace Street, located off University Boulevard, was identified as the scene of the incident. The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit said that the shooting seemed to be the result of a brief argument between the accused and the victims.

Capt. Jack Kennedy, the head of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, declined to say whom police believe shot the man on Sunday, but he did say that both suspects are being charged because of their acts, which led to Jamea Jonae Harris’ death.

Harris was a passenger in the vehicle, but the driver reported to the authorities that the vehicle had been fired at and that the driver had responded in self-defense. Near the Walk of Champions, the vehicle noticed a UA police car and stopped to get help. After that, officers were dispatched at approximately 1:45 a.m. on Sunday.
