Famous MMA player Georgiy Gagloev, a Russian mixed martial arts fighter, has apparently been discovered dead, know his cause of death
Recently following his appeal to Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, Gagloev went viral. Rimma, Georgiy Gagloev’s aunt, went missing on February 6, 2022. The last time anyone saw her, she was on her way home to North Ossetia from the Grozny airport in a cab. But the vehicle turned up abandoned close to the frontier.
Gagloev thought his aunt had been abducted because of her work. Rimma, Gagloev’s aunt, was a fortune teller. In Islam, these occupations are strictly forbidden.

A Russian news agency, TASS, stated that the fighter was discovered dead in the compartment he was riding in on his way from Moscow to Vladikavkaz. TASS reports that credible sources indicate the fighter may have met a violent end but an official cause of death is not known yet. At the station in Rostov-on-Don, the body of Gagloev was discovered.
When it comes to his aunt’s profession, in these predominantly Muslim region, these occupations are also forbidden. Indeed, this is the final known location of Rimma. Just days after his aunt went missing, Gagloev released a video on YouTube pleading with Ramzan Kadyrov, the ruler of Chenchen.
“My aunt was engaged in fortune-telling… I know that it is forbidden in the Muslim religion, but she did it in Ossetia, and we will figure it out ourselves,” said Gagloev in the video. Though Kadyrov did not respond to it, the video went viral.
Gagloev received vociferous support from the Russian Federation and the leader of North Ossetia. If his aunt had broken the law in any way, Georgiy said, she should be punished in accordance with Russian law.

Bantamweight was the division in which MMA fighter Georgiy Gagloev competed. Gagloev participated in 5 professional bouts during the course of his career. When he fought for the first time, he choked out his opponent in the first round and won. Gagloev, though, went on to lose his next seven fights. The loss to Ibragim Ilyasov at Hype FC 5 in 2021 was his last in the professional ranks. He’d previously competed for Oplot FC, The Old Guard, and the JFL.
North Ossetia is a republic in the North Caucasus, and that’s where Georgiy Gagloev hailed from. As a freestyle wrestler and martial artist, he held the title of North Ossetian champion. He was always into sports, but he eventually switched to MMA.
His passing is a tragic loss for the Russian martial arts scene. Gagloev had a lot of time at age 25 to improve his skills and become a promising player. Unfortunately, at the moment, all anyone can do is hope for the best for those he loves.
