The particular social media post reportedly caught the attention of Popeyes and the fast food chain responded with tweet that read: “Let’s get that bread(ing)”

Who is Dieunerst Collins the “Popeye Kid”?

Back in 2013, when Vines were popular, Dieunerst Collins featured in a Vine video where a stranger tells him that he looks like a Vine celebrity named TerRio.

The whole incident took place inside a Popeyes restaurant and as a reaction to the comment, Collins gave a side-eye, confused look at the camera. That video has since gone viral and Collin’s reaction is frequently used in photo and GIF form across social media.

Now, 10 years since the video was taken, Collins is now a D-II football player. In fact, he recently won a New Jersey state championship with the East Orange High School back in 2021.
