“Purell only kills 99.9% germs,” Odell Beckham Jr replies after video of him getting kicked off plane goes viral

Odell Beckham Jr, an NFL player, was escorted by police officers as he departed an aircraft at Miami International Airport, as shown on body camera footage from the police department with his plane video viral

On November 27th, cops are seen in the video boarding Flight 1228 of American Airlines. Police said Beckham was removed from the plane when he lost consciousness, but at the time circumstances were sketchy and Beckham’s lawyer blamed an overzealous flight attendant.

Officer body cam footage of the incident was released this week by the Miami-Dade Police Department. Code Blue Cam, a YouTube channel, then uploaded it. The flight attendants explain to the police that Beckham was unresponsive and refused to wear a seatbelt before he was asked to leave the plane.

Beckham looks drowsy and stubborn when police officers approach him. The pilots must make an emergency landing back at the terminal, and everyone on board must disembark.

Here is how the conversation went

“We’re gonna have to deplane everybody on this plane and then you’re still gonna get off,” one officer says to Beckham. “That’s fine,” Beckham replied. In the footage, passengers leaving the plane get involved in an altercation with Beckham as he remains seated.

“That shit don’t mean nothing to me. You’re going wait 40 minutes and I’m going to be on a private plane home. Yeah, with your fat ass,” he shouts.

There were no charges filed against him, and his attorney, Daniel Davillier, told The Daily Beast that a “overzealous flight attendant” was to blame for the “unnecessary” incident. Beckham, a member of the 2022 Super Bowl champion Rams team, is a free agent at the moment.
