However, being a Jehovah’s Witness in today’s culture can be a challenging endeavour. It was revealed that the denomination forbids its members to celebrate pagan holidays or any festival that has pagan roots, such as Halloween, the Fourth of July, or Thanksgiving. This includes Easter, Christmas, and birthdays. The only type of celebrations in which they are allowed to take part are anniversaries of their weddings.

What about Serena Williams’s spouse Alexis?

Now we know that Alexis, too, is a devout member of the Jehovah’s Witness faith, as reported. Two years ago, Serena said the following in an interview that was conducted exclusively for the magazine Vogue: “Being a Jehovah’s Witness is important to me, but I’ve never really practiced it and have been wanting to get into it. Alexis didn’t grow up going to any church, but he’s been really receptive and even takes the lead. He puts my needs first.”

Jehovah’s Witnesses are instructed not only to avoid participating in politics and voting but also in the other activities listed above. Therefore, you should not anticipate Serena to take part in any activities related to encouraging people to vote in the upcoming presidential election in 2024.
