Former Indian captain Rahul Dravid has reapplied for the position of Head of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy after talks of him being the new coach of India arose

The BCCI had requested applicants for the role of NCA cricket head, which is currently held by Dravid, earlier this month. After the T20 World Cup in November, it was suggested that he may succeed Ravi Shastri as head coach of the senior national team.

Because Dravid’s two-year contract had expired, BCCI had to invite him to reapply. There is no provision for extension under the constitutional amendment, therefore the application process must begin all over again. Yes, Rahul has reapplied for the position of NCA head of cricket. Rahul Dravid traveled to Sri Lanka as the head coach of the senior Indian squad. Full-time positions come with a lot of obstacles, so I’m not sure,” said Rahul in a recent interview.
