Master Lee informed Bu Yeon’s mother that Jin Seol Ran’s soul is still alive and protecting the ice stone. She asked him how is that possible and he replied that his existence is the best proof. Later, Jin Bu Yeon showed Jang Uk a glimpse of the world which was destroyed due to the fired bird. She informed him that the firebird will escape and he can only stop that. All this time, she had been hiding under the shadow that has been created by his light.
How did Jin Mu die in the final episode?
Jang Uk killed all the 76 soul shifters in the secret organization of Jin Mu with the help of the crown prince. He destroyed the barrier and forced Jin Mu to enter the magical prison. There, Jin Mu meets Naksu who tempts him with the power of ice stone. However, that ice stone was empty and it only absorbs energy. Naksu revealed her true for to him and told him, he will die slowly and painfully with that stone.
Later, Jin-mu uses the stone and the remaining soul transference power he possessed within the queen to shift his soul into Seo Yoon-oh’s body. They entered the prison to rescue him at the King’s command. He tried to use the firebird to become immortal but Jang Uk arrived there and burned him alive with his allies.

Yes, Naksu was alive at the end of Alchemy of Souls season 2. Naksu in Jin Bu- Yeon’s body chooses to leave Jang Uk without bidding farewell. In an effort to do this, she enters the formidable magical prison, but destiny has other plans for both of them. Naksu recalled the final memory when she stabbed Jang Uk and left the body.
