Ever since Timo Werner has joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig last year, he’s divided opinion between the club’s supporters. Failing to repose the faith the club entrusted in him, Werner struggled to get his shooting shoes on for Chelsea in his maiden opinion.

Whilst he’s attracted both supporters and naysayers during the period, a magnitude of the club’s fans have been in agreement over the striker’s work ethic. Werner is often seen running his socks into the ground, a player who by no means underwhelms when it comes to giving it his all on the pitch.

With Romelu Lukaku now a part of Chelsea, many believe the Belgium striker is the key to helping Werner revive his tanking touch. The two were seen in a long discussion during the side’s training session this Wednesday at Stamford Bridge.
