Gervonta Davis vs Hector Luis Garcia match events & post-match reactions

Despite the sluggish start to the first few rounds, it appeared as though Davis was positioning Garcia by enticing him into a firefight. Davis was hit on the back of the head a few times by Garcia throughout the first three rounds of the battle, but as the fight went on, Davis’ better power started to show. Garcia delivered a counter right to the body with 1:48 remaining in the fourth, and he was willing to crouch and work in the pocket, which was exactly what Davis wanted.
