Now there is another Update in the Idaho University Students Killing case as one of 2 survivors who saw and heard the things that happened on November 13 night that saw 4 students dying after the criminal justice graduate allegedly stabbed them in their beds have come forward.
For those who are unfamiliar, let us tell, Bethany Funke and Dylan Mortensen were among the two who were sole survivors of the bloodbath and who found their friends’ bodies hours after the brutal attack in their off-campus apartment.

After a total of 6 weeks of investigation, the cops reportedly revealed that the two were sleeping during the tragic event.
However, on Thursday, a report of investigators showed us something more bone chilling as it revealed that Dylan Mortensen faced the killer just before he fled from the house.
Who are Bethany Funke and Dylan Mortensen?
For those who are curious about the survivors in the home chilling terror case, let us tell you, the 21-year-olds lived with their friends in the off-campus apartment where the gruesome murder took place in the 1122 King Road house in Moscow.
The duo were present in the home at the hours of slaying. As per the floor plans, the two live on the first floor of the split level home which is accessible by both ways either by door or a code lock.
The second and third floors, where the victims had been sleeping and it is accessible via sliding glass door. Both the girls have set their Instagram account to private. Dylan is dating Quinn Kelly.
Night of the Terror
As of now, the investigators haven’t revealed where Funke and Mortensen were in the hours before the killings. But they did confirm that the two got home just after 1:00 A.M.
Meanwhile, the four victims who died in the night of terror had reportedly made their way back to the house by 2:00 A.M.
As per the official documents unsealed in the court, Mortensen woke up around 4:00 A.M. after hearing voices. She reportedly heard Goncalves saying ” There’s someone here,” and cry from Kernodle’s room.
She hurriedly opened the door only to find out that a “figure clad in black clothing and mask that covered the person’s mouth and nose walking towards her.”
She reportedly claimed that she was shocked and froze in one place but the suspect just walked past her, out the back sliding glass door. She instantly locked herself in her room.
As of now the cops haven’t revealed the identity of the 911 caller but they stated that the call came from one of the surviving roommates’ phones.
However, they also didn’t reveal why 11:50 A.M. The call came nearly 8 hours after Mortensen reportedly saw the killer inside their apartment.
Earlier in a statement cops stated that Funke and Mortensen might be the “key” to solve the gruesome crime as they quickly ruled them out as suspects.
The cops even stated that the women were cooperative throughout the investigation.
Ever since the killing happened, the two have largely remained silent. They even wrote letters to their lost friends which were read out aloud by a pastor during a service for Kernodle.
