He is a former American football linebacker and coach who was named the BYU Cougars collegiate football team’s new defensive coach on Monday. Playing Career
Justin Ena began his professional football career as a linebacker with the BYU Cougars during the 1997 season. During his time at BYU, he made 101 tackles and led the Cougars to All-MWC (Mountain West Conference) first-team honours in 2001, the same year he graduated.
He made his professional debut in 2002 as a free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles before joining the Tennessee Titans in 2004 and playing in sixteen games with 32 tackles. Ena returned to the Eagles in 2005, appearing in six games and accumulating nine tackles.

Justin Ena began his coaching career as a special teams coordinator in 2008 before taking over as the defence coach at Southern Utah in 2010. Southern Utah improved to a top-25 defensive club in the Great Western Conference under his direction.
