After the defeat on Saturday, reporters approached Ruggles for an interview in the locker room, but he rejected. Instead of focusing on the criticism, though, his mother Jackie Ruggles chose to thank the Ohio State supporters and employees on social media on Tuesday.
Ruggles’ mother wrote, “Thank you Buckeye Nation for the incredible support. I recognise that the loss has broken the hearts of every Buckeye, and I value the grace many of you have displayed. For the error, Noah accepts full responsibility. He will be appreciative of his teammates and coaches for setting him up for victory week after week.”
