PSG to face a friendly against Saudi Pro League All-Star XI

A Saudi Pro League All-Star XI is reportedly scheduled to play Paris Saint-Germain in a friendly. So, to play against Lionel Messi, Ronaldo has to catch up quickly. Players from Al-Nassr and the reigning champions Al-Hilal would make up the entire team.

Additionally, it is speculated that Ronaldo and World Cup champion Messi would reunite on the field for one last match after years of arch rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona. Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are only two of the A-list players that PSG will have at their disposal.

Who all are there to help Ronaldo?

The All-Stars XI, however, might also boast several elite players, including a former Manchester United forward and an ex-Arsenal goalie. The latter is none other than Ronaldo’s new colleague at Al-Nassr, David Ospina. He spent his first four years in the Emirates before moving to Saudi Arabia from Napoli over the summer.

The All-Stars’ defence featured the seasoned combo of Mohammed Al-Breik and Ali Al-Bulaihi from Saudi Arabia. Alvaro Gonzalez, a former player for Villarreal and Marseille, and Ghislain Konan, an Ivorian, would also be joining them. Luiz Gustavo, a Champions League champion for Bayern Munich, and Talisca, a former Benfica starlet, will likely play in the middle of the field. Musab Al-Juwayr of Saudi Arabia, a World Cup rookie, may take third.

Where things get really interesting for the All-Star team is up top, where Ronaldo occupies one of the front-three positions. Odion Ighalo, a favourite of United supporters, who spent a year on loan at Old Trafford, will be joining him. Ighalo scored five goals during that time. Vincent Aboubakar, a former teammate at Porto, would likely take the final position, just beating out Moussa Marega. Should the two teams face off this year, the powerful All-Star XI would undoubtedly compete with PSG.
