Scott Stallings: Who Is He?

On March 25, 1985, Scott Stallings was born in Worcester, Massachusetts. As a professional golfer, he competes on the PGA Tour. He is a Christian. Stalling is married to Jennifer White, and the couple has two kids, Finn and Millie.

At Oak Ridge High School in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Stallings was a four-year Dean’s List student and an all-state golfer. His career at Tennessee Tech saw him win seven competitions, be named an All-American in 2006, and win Player of the Year honours twice in the Ohio Valley Conference.

In 2008 and 2009, respectively, Stallings took part in the NGA Hooters Tour and the Tarheel Tour. In 2009, he went to his first PGA Tour Qualifying School, just losing out on a seat on the tour by one shot. He was given a berth on the Nationwide Tour because of his performance. On the Nationwide Tour, he played in 28 tournaments, made 19 cuts, and finished in 53rd place.

In July 2011, Stallings won his first PGA Tour event at the Greenbrier Classic. Even though Stallings occasionally encountered difficulties in the last round, he was still able to advance to a three-way playoff. With the win, Stallings moved up the FedEx Cup rankings from 88th to 26th. His OWGR rating increased from 224th to 119th after starting the year in position 562.

Stallings won the Farmers Insurance Open in January 2014 by one stroke over five other competitors. In his title defence the following year, Stallings lost in a four-man sudden-death playoff.
