As per the statement given by Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office, the California native was riding a snowmobile on a steep slope at around 02:00 P.M. local time when he met the tragic incident.
As per the investigators the former driver of Monster World Rally Team was pronounced dead at the scene as he succumbed to his injuries that he suffered during the incident.
The tragic news of Ken’s demise was confirmed by his company Hoonigans in a social media post.
The brand took to their official Instagram handle as they revealed the passing of American professional driver.
The official post Hoonigans reads, “It’s with our deepest regrets that we can confirm that Ken Block passed away in a snowmobile accident today. Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And most importantly, a father and husband.”
As per a report by TMZ, the County Sheriff’s office revealed, “Mr. Block was riding with a group but was alone when the accident occurred.”
