2022 AFF Championship: Thailand vs Indonesia Result, Score, Winner, & Other Details
In a rematch of last year’s championship game, reigning champion Thailand held their nerve despite falling behind in the game and being reduced to 10-man before scoring equalizer to tie the match. Following this result, Thailand and Indonesia remain tied with seven points from three games. Meanwhile, Cambodia’s semi-final qualification hopes stayed alive thanks to their dominant 5-1 win against Brunei, that saw them sit only one point behind leaders Thailand.
On Friday, two Group-B matches will be played including Vietnam’s face-off against Singapore to take control of the group. Elsewhere, bottom-placed Laos will take on already eliminated Myanmar to earn consolation victory before saying goodbye to the tournament. Later on Saturday, last pair of matches in Group-A will be played with reigning champions Thailand clashing against stern challengers Cambodia.
