Career
Ryan Laursen arrived in Lyngby from Birkerd in 2007 and was given his first professional contract in October 2010 for his outstanding performances for the Lyngby youth teams. He was on the radar for Superliga clubs FC Nordsjaelland and Esbjerg fB after putting up strong performances for Lyngby in the Danish First Division and for the Danish U21 team.
Laursen transferred to Esbjerg on September 2 for an unknown sum, the final day of the Danish transfer market. His former Lyngby boss Niels Frederiksen would be waiting for him at Esbjerg. Midway through the 2016–17 season, the full-back of American birth joined Odense Boldklub. Laursen signed a deal in July 2022 to work for SnderjyskE for the remainder of 2022.
