Eric Tan Hag addressed the media ahead of Manchester United’s first Premier League match following the World Cup against Nottingham Forest, confirming the contract renewals of four prominent players.

Marcus Rashford, Diogo Dalot, Luke Shaw, and Fred’s contracts at Manchester United have been extended for one year. These four players had already agreed to terms with the club until June 2023, with an option for an additional year. The players have signed the contract and will be under contract until the summer of 2024. Ten Hag explained about players’ contracts when questioned about them.

Marcus Rashford’s new contract deal details
Marcus Rashford debuted for Manchester United in the 2015-16 season. Rashford’s contract was extended for a further year on December 20, 2022. According to reports, Rashford’s new deal would pay him £250,000 per week plus bonuses, making him the highest-paid English player in the Premier League.
Rashford previously agreed to a four-year contract for £41,600,000 with a yearly wage of £10,400,000 and was making £200,000 per week before his contract extension. The deal was also signed by Dalot, Shaw, and Fred, in addition to Rashford. These four players’ contracts were set to expire at the end of the 2023 season. These four players have all signed contract extensions that will keep them at United until 2024.

Diogo Dalot Contract Details
Dalot signed a five-year contract for £6,500,000 in 2018, with a yearly salary of £1,300,000. Dalot currently makes £25,000 per week.
Luke Shaw Contract Details
Luke Shaw had previously signed a five-year contract for £31,200,000 with the club, with an annual salary of £7,800,000. Luke Shaw makes £150,000 each week.
Mc Fred Contract Details
Mc Fred had a five-year contract of £31,200,000, with an annual salary of £6,240,000. Fred earns £120,000 every week.
