The star producers, Joe and Anthony Russo shared a teaser poster of him on social media on Tuesday and expressed their delight at having him join the series. The Russo Brothers’ online series Citadel India, which stars Priyanka Chopra, has released its first promotional image. Varun Dhawan is the star of the program, which is helmed by Raj and DK.
In fact, Varun Dhawan will star in the Indian adaptation of the science fiction series Citadel. The show’s creators, the Russo Brothers, published the first image of Varun’s role on Instagram on Tuesday along with the news that shooting will start in January next year.

According to sources, the series will start production in January 2023 and will wrap up in around 5 to 6 months. So, we can expect the series to premiere by the end of November 2023 on Amazon Prime Video. In addition to the Italian-themed Citadel Hindi spinoffs, Spanish and Mexican-themed ones are also in the process.
The Hindi episode of the action-packed spy series Citadel would focus on the story of spies in India. Varun and Samantha would play spies. The series will be based on two timelines, the beginning and the conclusion of the 1990s, according to the report.

Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will play the role of the main characters in this upcoming web series. They would appear together on screen in Citadel-Hindi. Citadel is an extraordinarily big and fascinating franchise. I’ve always admired their work, so I’m ecstatic to be a participant in this venture and can’t wait to start production.
