Sargam Koushal, who represented India, was named Mrs. World 2022 during a gala event in Las Vegas, so it’s party time for the nation. After 21 years, Mrs. Koushal was able to win the title back for India by defeating competitors from 63 other nations.
She is a model and teacher from Jammu, India. She got married in 2018, and shortly after she understood her interest, she made the decision to compete in beauty pageants.

Mrs. Polynesia becomes the first runner-up and Mrs. Canada becomes the second runner-up.
As part of the preparation for the pageant, all competitors had to attend seminars with renowned experts in the pageantry field. This year, Sargam Koushal was trained by specialists such as Kavita Kharayat, an expert in ramp walks, as well as Dr. Varun Katyal, an expert in food, Jinni Shaikh, an expert in fitness, Cherag Bambboat, an expert in hair and makeup.
Initiated in 1984, Mrs. World is the first contest exclusively for married women. It was founded by David Marmel in California, USA. Mrs. America served as the inspiration for the pageant’s very idea. The pageant was first named Mrs. Woman of the World from 1984 through 1987, and then Mrs. World in 1988.
Over time, Mrs. World grew exponentially to become the largest marriage pageant in the world, with 80 different nations having feature directors.
