With the capacity of 15,000 inside the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, the UFC Authorities enforced couple of Covid-19 protocols for the safety of the fighters, staff and spectators inside the octagon. UFC revealed their latest partnership that would provide a safer environment for everyone involved in the UFC 261 event.
New UFC Rules: What are the Covid-19 protocols enforced?
The promotion will now be working with CLEAR and their Health Pass technology. To be more precise, this tool will be used by the in-coming audience to fill a covid related questionnaire after which they would be securely link to a database. Importantly all the spectators coming in will be required to fill in this questionnaire before hand.
More importantly the people who missig out from filling this questionnaire due to any reason, would still be able to complete a hard-copy form upon the arrival of the event. Additionally, this is not the only partnership UFC has indulged themselves in.
Along with CLEAR, UFC has also linked up with O2 Industries in an effort to make sure everyone inside the arena is wearing a mask for the safety of their peers, fighters and staff members. This sis also done, to not cause any major blunder during the on-going event.
Hence it seems like the new Covid-19 protocols enforced by the UFC Authorities have allowed them to slowly and steadily bring the fight fans back into the arenas, especially for pay-per-view events.
