On Monday, December 5, a violent confrontation occurred at Westview Middle School in St. Louis, which is part of the Riverview Gardens School District. The instructor and the student were not named by the district, according to reporting in the Kansas City Star.
However, according to KTVI-TV, the employee is donning a red shirt. The district and neighborhood are responding to the attack that was seen on camera and are perplexed as to how such a thing could occur in a classroom. According to Fox News, many people feel that the video is quite upsetting.

The two nearly collided with a chair that dropped after they struck the ground and smashed into a desk. Both people can be seen tugging each other’s hair in the footage, and other students in the room can be heard shouting and yelling over the action.
According to the Star, a letter from the district to parents that McClatchy News got said,
This incident was captured in a deeply disturbing video that is circulating on news and social media.
It added,
Riverview Gardens School District does not condone violence and takes violent behavior seriously.
It is yet unknown how the altercation started, how it concluded, and whether anyone will face punishment. The district has arranged a Town Hall meeting for employees, parents, and community members on Tuesday, December 12 at 6:30 pm to discuss school safety.
