Despite his crash at IndyCar, Marcus Ericsson showed immense fight and character to emerge in pole position

IndyCar witnessed one of its most stellar recoveries when Marcus Ericsson managed to emerge victorious in Nashville. Despite going airborne in the fourth lap itself as he crashed into the rear wheels of Sebastien Bourdais, Ericsson managed to still end up in first place.

IndyCar Nashville Sees Marcus Ericsson Embroiled In A Calamitous Crash

The accident threw the nose of Ericsson’s car into the air before it landed hard on the ground. However, Marcus refused to be fazed by the crash, getting a new front wing and winning the race two and a half hours later.
