The Anubhuti Kashyap-directed film will soon be available to stream for those who were unable to see it in theatres. The film Doctor G stars Ayushmann Khurrana, and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles along with Shefali Shah.

Doctor G was released on 14th October 2022 in theatres. The talks regarding the OTT release took a while to sell its rights either to Amazon Prime Video or Netflix. However, the dates and OTT platform is officially revealed by the maker.

The movie Doctor G will be streaming on Netflix India from December 11, according to the reports on Twitter. A leading account officially disclosed the date and posted an image from the streaming service’s forthcoming section. It previews the release of the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer the following Sunday.

In addition to the Andhadhun actor, Doctor G boasts three more outstanding female actors in the roles of Shefali Shah, Rakul Preet Singh, and Sheeba Chaddha, who play the medical college coordinator and his mother, respectively.

At the box office, Doctor G faced competition from Rishab Shetty’s Hindi dub of the Kannada language drama Kantara and Parineeti Chopra and Harrdy Sandhu’s spy action thriller Code Name: Tiranga. On October 14, Chhello Show, India’s official Oscars 2023 nominee, was also made available.
Ayushman Khurana
Much better than Ayushmann’s other two theatrical releases this year, the Junglee Pictures film debuted at Rs 3.87 crore. An Action Hero, a film by Anirudh Iyer, and Anek, a political thriller by Anubhav Sinha, respectively, earned Rs 1.31 crore and Rs 1.75 crore on Friday.
His most recent film, An Action Hero, is the fourth consecutive box office failure for the star actor, who previously had solo successes with films like Dream Girl, Badhaai Ho, and Andhadhun in the pre-pandemic era. However, even in December 2021, his romantic comedy Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui with Vaani Kapoor failed to draw audiences to the theatres.
