He later tweeted a link to the account of author Matt Taibbi, who published a series of tweets outlining the reasoning for the decision to delete Hunter Biden’s laptop narrative. In one of those tweets, Taibbi quoted Communications staffer Trenton Kennedy as saying,
We’ll face hard questions on this if we don’t have some kind of solid reasoning for marking the link unsafe [New York Post’s report about Biden].

Who Is Trenton Kennedy?
Trenton Kennedy is a former Twitter employee. He has been in the news because his name was recently dragged in the alleged suppression of the Hunter Biden leaks story by Twitter.
He is from Frankfort, Kansas, and is currently living in Washington D.C.
He did a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kansas State University. While in university, he was also a Vice President of the student body.
His Career
Trenton Kennedy was a former Donor Relations Assistant at KSU Foundation from August 2015 to 2016. In 2015, he also did an internship at a Republican Cloakroom. Later, he did work as a columnist at Marysville Advocate from 2014 – 2016.
Later on, he oversaw communications at Quorum Analytics from May 2017 to Aug 2017. After this, he oversaw communications at Kansas State University. Later he becomes deputy press secretary of Senator Jerry Moran.
In 2019, he become U.S. Policy Communications Manager at Twitter, where he held the post till Aug 2022. After leaving Twitter, he becomes Senior Communications Manager at Chainalysis Inc.
He is also associated with several organizations including Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, Blue Key Senior Honorary, and Frankfort Developmental Trust.
