Toby Schwartz, the chief of police in Bay St. Louis, said that Mark Curtis Wells, 51, from Biloxi, first drove away in a dark-colored Tesla before turning himself in.

A statement says that when police went to the Hollywood Casino on Monday night to look into a report of an assault, they found a person with a disfiguring face injury. WXXV-TV says that the nose of the victim was not found on the way to the hospital.
Schwartz said, “The investigation showed that the suspect, Mark Curtis Wells, bit the nose off of the victim.” Authorities were told that the victim and Mark Wells had been fighting. All day about a game of golf they had played at the Bridges Golf Course at the resort.
Mark Wells Charged And Let Out After Paying The Bond Money
Wells was charged with felony mayhem and put in the Hancock County prison. An hour later, he paid the required 10% of a $50,000 bond with his own money and was freed.
According to the Biloxi Sun Herald, Wells could spend up to seven years in prison if he is found guilty of the felony. State law defines a premeditated felony as “a crime committed with the intent to kill in which the suspect mutilates, disfigures, disables, or destroys someone’s tongue, eye, lip, nose, limb, or other body part.”
Two Days Before Mark Wells’s Case Of Assault Came Out
A fight between a son named John Armstrong and his stepfather turned a similar game night into something very different. On November 26, 2022, a family from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Was playing Monopoly when things got violent, leading to an assault charge.
Tulsa Police Department said that after Armstrong and his stepfather knocked over the Monopoly board and furniture. Another family member told them to take their fight outside. When they went outside, Armstrong allegedly pulled out a gun, held his stepfather and stepsister at gunpoint, and chased them down the street.
Armstrong is said to have shot at the stepsister and her father as he chased them down the street. And the stepsister called 911 after that. When the police showed up, Armstrong was taken into custody. They also found Monopoly money and game pieces scattered all over the living room. Armstrong is accused of using a dangerous weapon to hurt someone.
