Italy, Colombia, Peru, Sweden, Ukraine, Chile, Nigeria, Russia, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, or Algeria are all ahead of the Socceroos on that list, even though they didn’t even qualify for the tournament.
Iran, Japan, and South Korea are all teams from the Asian Confederation that are ahead of Australia in the current FIFA rankings. For example, in the World Cup, France (4), Denmark (10) and Tunisia (11) were all ahead of them (30). The last two teams have been eliminated from the tournament.

Teams Qualified For Round 16 Till Now
Five countries have already qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which is in its last round of group stage games.
France was the first country to make it to the pre-quarterfinals. They did this by beating Denmark 2-0 in their second group stage game, which broke the “Champion’s Curse.” After beating Denmark on the last match day, Australia became the second team, after France, to move on to the round of 16.
Brazil and Portugal won their games against Switzerland and Uruguay, respectively, to keep up the winning streak. Casemiro stepped on the gas for Brazil and scored the game-winning goal with a right-footed shot in the 83rd minute.
