Prithviraj Sukumaran’s upcoming Malayalam language movie titled Gold is gearing up to hit theaters soon, know its release date
The upcoming bilingual movie, Gold is written, edited and directed by famous director Alphonse Puthren, who’s most notably known for his work in movies like Neram and Premam.

The movie which is said to be an action comedy drama marks the return of the filmmaker Alphonse after a huge gap of his last directed romantic movie Premam which was released in 2015.
Release Date of Gold
The action comedy film which is a total of 165 minutes will be released in December, this year.
The much-awaited movie was previously expected to release on September 8th however it was postponed due to some circumstances.
The rumors about the release date were suggesting that the movie is set to be released on December 22.
However, as per the official announcement made by Magic Frames which is the production company of the movie, the film will be released on December 1st, 2022.
The Magic Frames took to their official Twitter handle to announce the release date of the movie. The tweet of the brand reads, “Gold Release on Dec 1st 2022.”
The movie is set to be released in 2 languages i.e, Malayalam and Tamil.

The movie has been jointly bankrolled by Prithviraj Productions along with Magic Frames. The distribution work of the movie has been handled by Magic Frames in Kerala and SSI Production in Tamilnadu.
Plot Summary
As per the official IMDb page of Gold, the story of the movie reportedly revolves around an incident when a mobile shop owner bought a new car owing to marriage alliance which is almost fixed.
The makers of the movie have already released a 2.5 minutes trailer cum teaser of the movie back on March 22, 2022 which provides us a glimpse of the story.
