English actress Millie Gibson has been unveiled as the new companion to Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor Who, know her age and net worth
The actress will be joining in the 15th generation of Doctor Who.
The casting announcement of the actress was made live on Friday’s BBC Children in Need appeal.
As per the announcement, Millie’s first episode opposite Gatwa will be broadcast during the festive period next year.

While talking with BBC, in her interview, Gibson revealed that she is, “still being in total disbelief, I am beyond honoured to be cast as the Doctor’s companion.”
She further added that, “It is a gift of a role, and a dream come true, and I will do everything to try and fill the boots the fellow companions have travelled in before me.
“And what better way to do that than being by the fabulous Ncuti Gatwa’s side, I just can’t wait to get started.”
Who’s Millie Gibson?
Millie Gibson, an English actress, who won the Best Young Actor Award for British Soap in 2022, was born in Greater Manchester, on June 19, 2004.
The 18-year-old actress made her acting debut in 2017 when she appeared as Indira in CBBC series Jamie Johnson and she has a net worth of $1 million.
In 2019, she appeared in the soap opera Coronation Street of ITV. She played the role of Kelly Neelan till 2022. For her character in the soap opera, she won the aforementioned award.
Apart from it, the actress has also appeared in television shows like Butterfly and Love, Lies and Records.
Meanwhile, Ncuti Gatwa, who’s famous for his role in Netflix’s hit Sex Education Series, is first Black actor to play the role of iconic Doctor as the lead.
The 30-year-old actor will be replacing Jodie Whittaker. Corrie co-stars Millie Gibson and Tanisha Gorey have struck up a close friendship, with the both said to be dating.
In an earlier interview Gatwa described his experience with the 18-year-old actress as he stated, “Millie just is the Companion.”
“From the moment she walked into the room she captured all of our attention with her effervescence and then solidified that attention with the sheer torque of her talent.
He continued, “This adventure is going to be so wild and so fun, I cannot WAIT to sail the universe with Millie!”
