During the Misfits, Boxing weigh-ins on Friday, Bellator fighter Dillon Danis got into a pair of scuffles with the video of his beef with Anthony Taylor viral
A pair of boxers, KSI and Danis, had a heated exchange during weigh-ins and began chirping back and forth at each other.
Anthony Taylor Punches Dillon Danis In The Face After His Fight With KSI, Video Goes Viral
KSI told Danis he could knock out the jiu-jitsu specialist after Danis asked if he wanted to get choked out. A soft left hand was thrown by Danis to the face of KSI, causing all hell to break loose. He was heard saying, “Do it right now.”
Anthony Taylor And Dillon Danis Brawl
Even while it’s unusual for anything like that to occur only once, it’s almost unheard of for it to occur again in a short period of time. Anthony Taylor, a former Bellator fighter who is now a boxer, attacked Danis in different footage shot by IFL TV outside the weigh-in location. After a while, Taylor managed to get past the guys holding him back and punched Danis square in the face, starting yet another altercation.
However, Danis hasn’t fought inside a cage in more than three years. He is 2-0 with two submissions as a Bellator fighter.
The Feud Between The Two
Conor McGregor’s close friend and former Bellator fighter Dillon Danis took a hit to the eye during a chaotic incident. It was in a conference room at an Austin, Texas, hotel that YouTubers’ Misfits Series 3 weigh-ins took place. It was then that KSI and a number of other well-known fighters and celebrity boxers arrived. Danis then emerged from the crowd to attack KSI. The two are shown on video exchanging verbal jabs and threats before Danis knocks KSI’s cap off his head and slams a cup of cold coffee in his face.
KSI attempted to pursue Danis but was stopped in the middle. While this was happening, Danis and his group left the area and later the hotel as well. Anthony Taylor, a former Bellator fighter, shouted at Danis after the match for going after KSI and then repeatedly tried to punch him.
After striking Danis with his right hand, Taylor unleashed a powerful attack. Then, everything became crazy, and everyone outside started throwing punches at each other. It seems one of Danis’ companions at one point had a bleeding lip from a strike to the lips. After a while, the violence subsided and calm was restored. Danis assured a cameraman who was present at the scene that he was okay.
The Duos Were Involved In Brawls Before
It is nothing new for Danis and Taylor to engage in antics during boxing events. Taylor recently got into a street fight before a Floyd Mayweather celebrity boxing match in Dubai, while Danis just had a fight with Nate Diaz at UFC 281.
