As per the 63-long-page suit, Robert had sexually abused a teen, Parker Egbert, while the two competed for the US during the Tokyo Paralympics back in August, 2021.
The complaint seemed to be alleging that the authorities of the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee and the United States Center for SafeSport tried to cover up the abuse.
Last year, on Aug 23, Robert was temporarily suspended by the US Center for Safesport because of “allegations of misconduct.”
The official documents reads, “This case is a horrific tragedy, where a young man who defied all odds to become a world-class Paralympic swimmer had his life utterly shattered by rape and abuse when he was paired with a team member who was a violent sexual predator.”
